The Good
I love it here at the Ranch. 5 acres over looking a valley.
Hardly any cars drive by.
If you hear a siren, its out of place and you look to watch. Usually its a our neighbor. He’s a volunteer fireman.
“Neighbor” is an interesting concept our here. Anyone in a 3 mile radius is a neighbor.
We can go out anytime we want and shoot our guns on the front porch. Although I usually don’t. The Marine Corps took most of the fun out of shooting. The cleaning part is a drag, unless our ’s boyfriend is coming over.
I love being able to build a fire and fuck by the fire.
Parenting tip, don’t want the to bother you, tell them what you are going to be doing. Every just knows that there is not enough eye bleach in the wold to remove that vision.
Sunsets. Gudgirl and I never tire of watching the sun set.
Lighting. From our vantage point, we get to see some awesome lighting storms.
Stars. OMG so many stars. Can even see the milkyway. Not like I could as a growing up on the North side of Tulsa.
Vultures. I know what you’re thinking “ewwww”.
But have you ever watching them fly? On a windy day, they can fly for hours, up wind, down wind and almost never flap their wings. Truly beautiful.
The Bad
Mowing. Even with a 65″ deck it still takes 3 hours.
City owners. NO! NO! NO! You can’t just drop a off in the country and think it will do just fine.
The reality is;
They will chase the cattle.
Get shot and killed by the cattle owner
Then eaten by vultures.
As you can see, the good out weighs the bad. Something my city friends will never understand. All they can say is “the drive”. So what.

Ahhhh, love this time of the year. Except for the wind, I could do with out the wind.
Tonight is the opening race of the year at Salina Highbanks. Great facility.
If you like dirt racing, be there.
Also means camping season. As soon as there is a nice weekend, we're there. By nice, I mean not cold. We hate the cold.

So much hedonism has taken place since the last post, I don't know how give it justice. 2 nights in a row, Unicorn and another lady joined us. Let me tell ya, 3 women can keep a man busy. Good thing they enjoyed each other.
Anyway, it's a short week this week. Love 4 day weekends.
