i find that this happens with a lot of people and it is rude/ignorant. i just don't get it

Common problem. Sometimes makes you doubt the authenticity of the person or people.

And AdultXXXDate does a great job of giving you information that just isn't true about people being online or not, best gauge I've seen is in the message center (if you've been using it with them) and there is a green dot on their picture there, the online now on a profile is hit or miss about being right.

The site of ghosting. Nothing is real until you meet. It's most likely that they lied about a few small things.Like what they look like their physical shape,if they're male or female their age.Where they actually live.What their looking for,since men, women, couples and bdsm gets them more attention but with no intention.All standard procedure here sadly. Using more than all the road!

Hi Chelle, I read this post and found myself nodding my head in agreement. I've been on here, off here, on here, off, etc., for more than 10 years, sometimes as "Golden", sometimes as regular, and it has almost always been a version of what you have described: shite. (Read about my latest Golden experience here What is it worth) If you read the smallest of small print, this site admits that its numbers are bent: Tucsonfun4us2 described the "green light phenomenon": all the green light means is that that account has logged on within the last 24 hours. Likewise, the numbers of members, or people using the site, is the total of everyone who has ever created an account, whether or not that account is currently active (or has been deleted), or has accessed the site without becoming a member. It sucks. I keep coming back because I live in a rural area where it's difficult to meet interesting people; I remain hopeful, and I guess the hope tempts me back. I wished I lived closer to you: if things clicked, I certainly wouldn't ignore you. Anyway, good luck. xoxoxo

I hate that some people just kind of ignore or ghost others  we are all adults here (though i guess you wouldnt know it by some folks behavior) if things arent working out then say so, if theres a connection but it may be a while before you communicate let them know. manners matter people. sigh am sorry you went through this
