It is nice to be appreciated, not only by your team members, but also higher management and for me, my customers

Welcome back. Nope, that was one of the reasons I left. While I got on fine with most of the rank and file staff, the management weren't particularly conducive to ensuring an enjoyable workplace. There was one day I went through where I didn't talk to anyone despite working with about 200 people. It was only about 15 minutes before the end of the day that someone actually spoke to me for the first time that day. While I wasn't looking for attention from everyone it did make me wonder if I would be missed if I wasn't there. So I packed it in not long after.

Good Morning J Glad you are safely home It is always good to receive appreciation from colleagues and management. When I started working the Design Office at Airbus, we were a small team designing repairs arising from errors made during aircraft production. We were a small team, later with new aircraft being built the department grew and wasn't as close as before. Transfering from the UK to Germany still doing the same work, I moved into another small but very tight team. Not just with the British Guys, but with German and French colleagues too! Socialising together, as well working together. Please visit my Blog "Older but no Wiser"

Welcome back J I did enjoy working with the team at the printers but we had to move premises to a different town. A lot of that team left as they didn't want to travel.

I do love to have my work appreciated. I get really nice "tips" from clients I do work for. I have gotten as much as $1000 extra on final checks from clients. I do really good work and it is appreciated. I do remodeling.

I hope you get some closure with work soon...to ease the stress. But it sounds like you are making the most of trying to have a place to be no matter what happens with work. I'll keep you in my thoughts. Huge hugs from CA.

I know I am appreciated. My boss just told me the other day how much he appreciates all the work I do. I remember what it is like to say good bye to people who you really enjoy working with. Wishing you all the best my friend.

It's always so nice to feel appreciated. Working remotely, I don't often get the high-fives and thanks. Mid summer, when I was approached about adding some new responsibilities, I got some kudos from the big boss, which was really nice. I'm sorry you are experiencing the stress of changing jobs. It's never easy. Hopefully, this will lead to something new and exciting for you. *hugs* "Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax." – Mark Black
